Caux TIGE conference quoted in Faith in Business magazine

Writing in 'Faith in Business', Cambridge UK, Richard Higginson has a six page feature on the destructive monopoly of seeds by the agricultural biotech company Monsanto. He quotes at length from the experience of Troy Rush, an Indiana farmer who spoke during the Farmers Dialogue session of the Caux TIGE conference last July.

IofC worker Mike Smith has an article in The Times today, headlined: The crisis of confidence ignites a crisis of conscience.
Appearing in the regular Saturday Credo slot, Mike says: '...those who are driven solely by the profit motive and "the love of money", described by St Paul as "the root of all evil", are discovering that security based on material wealth is an illusion.' Mike draws heavily on the writings of Adam smith to argue that capitalism cannot be separated from conscience 'and even a divine providence'.

Imam Mohammad Ashafa and Pastor James Wuye are in Australia 24 October to 14 November 2008 as guests of Initiatives of Change. They were interviewed in Melbourne's leading newspaper The Age under the headline 'Imam and pastor unite for message of peace, tolerance'.

Imam Mohammad Ashafa and Pastor James Wuye are in Australia from 24 October to 14 November 2008 as guests of Initiatives of Change. They were interviewed on ABC Radio National's Lateline programme for 30 minutes. Interviewer, Philip Adams, said they were "two of the most important people in the world just now".The interview is available as streaming audio or as a downloadable podcast here.
