The Caux conference on Just Governance for Human Security in July brought together participants from East and West Ukraine and from Crimea. Intense discussion took place between all sides. Yet people recognized the importance of having a genuine dialogue, however painful it might be, and often found much in common at the level of fundamental principles. Out of these discussions came a ‘Platform for Ukrainian-Russian Contact, Dialogue and Initiatives’ in both Russian and Ukrainian.

The 20th Asia Pacific Youth Conference in Taiwan, 2014

The 20th Asia Pacific Youth Conference (APYC), under the theme of 'Building Trust Across the World’s Divides – Youth’s Roles and Responsibilities,' was held in Taiwan from 2- 9 August, 2014. The forum gathered 110 delegates from 14 countries of the Asia-Pacific region in three major cities, namely Taipei, Kaohsiung and Tainan of Taiwan.
